How to break the cycle of overwhelm and get clients
You know that moment when you have a great idea, get super pumped, start working on it, and then… you hit a wall? Maybe you’re excited about launching a new course, but when it’s time to market it, you freeze. You’re stuck, unsure what to do next, and boom—inaction. And just like that, you’re back to square one, repeating the same cycle over and over. Sound familiar?
Now, picture this: You have an IDEA—let’s say you want to start offering VIP days. Instead of diving in headfirst, you test it out in the real world. Maybe you ask your audience if they’d be interested in a full-day intensive with you. You get some feedback, tweak the idea, make a plan, and then start executing. You book a few VIP days, learn what worked and what didn’t, and refine your offer. Maybe you add a few new perks or adjust the pricing. Suddenly, you’ve got a solid offer that’s bringing in clients. Sounds way better, right?
The first I call it The Marketing Stress Cycle and the second I call it the Marketing Bliss Cycle. The difference? It all comes down to having the guts to test your idea in the marketplace before you start selling it.
I get it—most entrepreneurs skip this step. They think they already know their ideal clients inside out, maybe because they’ve walked in their shoes. For example, if you’ve struggled with time management, you might assume your clients need the same solutions that worked for you. But here’s the thing: If you don’t talk to real people, you might miss out on the insights you need to position yourself as the go-to solution for their problems.
It’s not enough to just know the problem you solve or who you’re solving it for. You need to know if your ideal client even wants to solve that problem and if they’re aware of it in the first place. And the only way to figure that out? You guessed it—talking to them.
When you test your idea and chat with potential clients, it becomes so much easier to create marketing content and promos that connect. For example, if you discover that your ideal clients are overwhelmed by the idea of creating a marketing plan, you can focus your messaging on how simple and stress-free your approach is.
This kind of insight helps you solve the right problems for both your clients and your business. Because when you speak their language and truly understand what they’re going through, they’ll trust you more—and they’ll be way more likely to open their wallets to get that problem solved.
I’m running a 30-day Marketing Intensive where I’ll help you work through this Marketing Bliss Cycle. We’ll test, plan, execute, and tweak your idea together so you can get the results you’re dreaming of.
If this sounds like something you need right now, the next step is to book a quick 15-minute discovery call with me. We’ll get to know each other and see if this intensive is the right fit. If it is, I’ll walk you through the next steps, and we’ll be off to the races!
