I want to help you understand something that you may not be aware of.
And it’s this: In order to get the results you want from your website, you need to implement a strategy on your website to have visitors do what you want them to do.
I want to give you a simple strategy that you can use for your business to create a website that is effective. Meaning your website is converting your visitors into a paying client.
But there are so many strategies out there and so many things to do that you may feel overwhelmed. But I’m not here to overwhelm you more than you already are.
So let’s get right into it.
It’s about mapping out your ideal client pathway. This strategy consists of getting very clear on what are the steps that your visitor needs to take in order to be a paying client.
Yes. it’s that simple.
The Ideal Client Pathway leads your visitors throughout your website. It’s like taking a road trip and once your visitor lands on your website you guide them with the right calls to actions to get them to a final destination. That destination could be buying your products or services or as simple as subscribing to your newsletter.
Even though not every visitor will take this ideal path, the main idea is to be intentional and tell your visitor what you want them to do when they visit any of your web pages.
So I got some homework for you today.
Do this: Take a blank piece of paper and draw a map to connect each page to another, through links, buttons, custom urls, and pictures that lead to another main page. (do this with every page)
For example: If your visitors land on your home page, what’s the next step that you want them to take? How can you guide them through your website, so they can take the exact next action that you want them to take?
Example 1: Home —–> Services —–> Book a free call —-> Thank You Page
Example 2: Blog —-> Services —–> Buy Service —-> Thank you page
I use this simple strategy with all my design clients, in order to create a website that is effectively designed to convert visitors into buyers.
Now, if you’ll like to know more about how to be strategic with your website. I’ll be opening up the doors for enrollment for my 2-hour live masterclass soon.
And don’t forget to tell me in the comments, if you resonate with this simple strategy and if you don’t what about it is not clear to you?
